What Is Ready to Catch Fire?

There is a moment after we find our voice when another question begins to emerge.
What will we do with it?
Being seen is not always a public act.
Sometimes it is offering the idea before someone else says it.
Naming the work we contributed instead of allowing it to remain invisible.
Telling someone what we need without first deciding whether the need is convenient.
Letting our enthusiasm show before we know how it will be received.
Correcting the assumption.
Asking the question.
Saying, “That matters to me.”
These moments may appear small from the outside. But each one gives something true a place in the world that it did not have before.
We may still feel the old instinct to hold back.
We may wait for more confidence, a better moment, or reassurance that what we say will be welcomed.
But confidence does not always arrive before we speak.
Sometimes it grows because we hear ourselves say what we mean—and remain present after we have said it.
The purpose is not to become the loudest person in the room.
It is not to share every thought, accept every invitation, or make ourselves visible everywhere.
It is to recognize the places where our silence has begun to limit what we can contribute, create, ask for, or change.
Our voice might make room for an idea no one else has considered.
It might make a relationship more honest.
It might allow someone else to feel less alone.
It might simply allow us to participate fully in a life that already has our name on it.
We do not have to know how far our voice will travel before deciding that it deserves to be heard.
Begin with one place where being more visible would allow us to be more fully present.

What would expressing it make possible?
What is one way you could give it a voice, a shape, or a place?
Our voice does not need to fill every room. It only needs to stop leaving us out of the ones that matter.
